Welcome to the Author Chronicles. This is my way of keeping myself accountable to a promise I made a couple years ago to myself—to write a book chronicling my journey from Hell.

Actually, I don’t know what the real “hell” is like and honestly don’t want to find out, but I think that what my husband, Alvin and I went through for the last 3 years definitely qualifies us to use that designation.

You may or may not know about our journey because I haven’t talked about it on this site; however, I have explored it fully on my other business’ website, Optimum Body Sculpting. The Author Chronicles won’t be about the past, but a present account of what’s happening on my road to adding “author of” to my tag line.

I am “over the moon” excited about finally being able to have a plan to complete this book—yet unnamed. I’ve thought about it and thought about it and planned and talked and even created some journal entries, but up until this point, there hasn’t been a clear plan in place.

What changed? Meeting Anita Paul of Write Your Life and  Candice Davis of Go Write Something…that’s what changed!

We have come together to create a fantastic project to help aspiring authors get off their “Assets” and FINALLY write that book they’ve been attempting to do for so long. It’s an amazing, well thought out and much needed resource that I am certain will be a huge hit with aspiring authors everywhere. More about that later.

For now, back to The Author Chronicles. The reason I decided to even start the chronicles section of the blog is because I AM the perfect candidate for this needed project. We’re talking to people just like me—professional women and entrepreneurs who have a book inside us and need to get it out.

You might be saying to yourself, “OK Carol…you’re teaching this program AND you’re a student also?? How is that going to work?” Well, with the unique expertise of Candice and Anita, I’ll be putting all the knowledge and education they will be teaching into production to actually write my book. The part I play in the project is of course, social media marketing instruction, which I know like the back of my hand. So I’ll learn what I need to do to get my book written and published and then apply my social media marketing skills to present it to the world. Afterwards, people will learn about my book and then buy it. Best of all, you will have a front row seat to the entire process.

I’ll be writing about my experiences leading up to the launch of our product and all the way through the program, right up until I publish my actual book. I am so excited, I can hardly stand it.

You may even want to join the program yourself. You will have the opportunity to do that in just a few short weeks, as we are busy putting the final touches on EVERYTHING. All I can say is that it’s going to be a fun ride. You with me?

Are you an aspiring author? Let me know what book you’ve been trying to get out of your head and onto the bookshelf so people can buy it. Let’s go on this journey together.

Carol, you’ve taken the first step to getting your book done: you’ve put it out there! That might seem like a rather small step, but it’s HUGE for you and others who’ve been thinking about writing a book for some time, but haven’t done it yet. Getting over the fear (of failure and success0 is critical. So now that that’s done, it’s time to get down to business. Happy to help you with your book publishing journey.

Carol, it’s absolutely fantastic to be working with you, and I’m looking forward to placing your book on my shelf in that special placed reserved for authors I know and work with in some capacity.

The amazing thing about creating this course with you and Anita–one of the amazing things, anyway–is that I’m learning a tremendous amount from both of you. You’ve already helped me step up my social media game, and Anita won’t let me get away with missing an opportunity to get a return on investment on my own books.

And it doesn’t hurt that you both make me laugh until my cheeks ache!
