I admit it, I was one of those entrepreneurs that rolled my eyes really, really hard whenever I heard a coach, facilitator, or speaker explain how much clarity played a part in their success. And I would feel my shoulders rising to my ears in a deep, non-caring shrug when they also mentioned how much money they’d made by being “Intentional.” You could probably look at my face to see the level of dis-interest I’d slipped into as they went on and on about those two points.
That is until I FINALLY realized how UN-clear and UN-intentional I was in my business.
Sure, I closed clients, but not nearly enough. And I made money too, but at some point, I began to think that my theme song was, “I ain’t got no money,” because that’s all I said day in and day out. In fact, every time I wanted to buy something, anything for my business, I heard that same old song playing in my head. Can you relate?
But now, I’m the one spouting the benefits of clarity and the side effects of being intentional.
What changed, you might ask? Well, it was me, or rather my mindset and thought process around me and my business. I had to decide what it was that I wanted my business to do for me and then I had to make up my mind as to what I would do to make my business work for me.
I knew that if I kept things as they were that I was headed straight back to a J.O.B. and believe me, no one, especially my potential bosses wanted any part of that ride.
So what did I do? I stopped in my tracks, took a long look at what I was doing and created a plan. Then I activated that plan.
Now, I didn’t do this by myself, no sir, I had plenty of help. I turned to my husband, my partners in success, and more than one coach for assistance, help, deep dives, and straight talk.
Together, with my team and separately with my own mind on track, I began to unravel the mindset, money, and success blocks that I had built up through the years. My team helped me to see them for what they were, stumbling blocks to my true success. Once I recognized the blocks, I could see clearly how to tear them down and step over them.
Now that’s what I call a break through!
When you watch medical commercials and read the drug facts in magazines, side effects, for the most part, aren’t a good thing. But sometimes great things come from those side effects, think Viagra. LOL, that may or may not be great for you personally, but you get the picture.
For me, the side effects of getting clear and being intentional have been awesome.
Here are a couple examples:
- Experiencing a $1000 day from converting prospects to clients
- Watching my calendar fill up with Online WOW! Assessment appointments
- Having other clients, colleagues, and future clients refer business to me because they know exactly what services I offer
As I circle back to the title of this message, now I can clearly and concisely tell you exactly what clarity is.
Clarity is:
- Knowing WHO you serve – Your audience.
- Knowing WHAT they want – their number one problem that they want solved.
- Knowing what you will provide to solve their problem – Your products and services.
Clarity, along with intention, allows you to create a nurturing environment for your ideal prospects so they can easily see what being a client of yours feels like. Most of all, clarity means success.
Success in your business and peace of mind that what you are doing is helping someone else to be better.
That’s the meaning of clarity.
Now it’s your turn to experience your own breakthrough.
